Everyone at the North Point ferry pier was in high spirits today and I drew a good crowd. They were more than willing to provide helpful comments like “put lip stick on her!” and “are you sure that’s her? It looks too good!” From the looks and smell I would guess the crowd was trying hard to clear 7-11 of their beer.

All that aside, the ferry pier is also a thriving fish market. Every thing from scallops to gooey ducts can be found here. They are sold live, and if you stand too close, the clams will spit on you.

For those of you who have been following me, North Point pier is where the big fish was caught. I am partial to this neighborhood because for 2 years I lived across the street on Marble Road. Ah, the smells of being home again. 🙂
