Today’s forecast was for HOT and it was. We are also under a T1 cyclone watch which added occasional downpours to today’s weather. It wasn’t in the forecast and the rain came in so quickly that, even though I checked the weather radar on my phone frequently, I got caught in Central without and umbrella or rain coat. I ducked into St. Joseph’s Church on Garden Road and sat under a public car park. The car park was sheltered by the Cotton Road flyover as well as the Peak Tram line. This drawing was done looking through an alley behind the car park and the Helena Mays Institute. Did I mention it was HOT? When I wasn’t dripping sweat on the drawing it was raining on me. Yuck. I think I mentioned the other day that I would start working from photos at home. So I’ll say it again. I think I’m going to start working from home until it cools off.

lol, yes, work from home for awhile, good idea with the rain and wind coming at us the next few days. I admire how you’re able to do a painting a day all over HK, that’s so amazing

Doing my best Bonnie. God forbid I should ever get full time employment! And I’ve got enough photos to work from and that should get me through most of the bad weather. But worse comes to worse I’ll just keep spending my days at the beach. 😉

lol, well if you ever have some free time and interested in giving some opinions on box design for a new brand of product my company is importing into HK, would like your ideas. Importing in a bunch of taffy candies which will be featured at the food expo in Aug and then placed on shelves of supermarekts in HK. I am thinking o 5 different boxes for 5 different types of flavors (coffee variety, fruit delight, happy hour, carinval, and aftenroon delight with flavors like cookie dough, caramel apple, rum…food for thought and they’ll be displayed in supermarkets all over HK

Sounds yummy! But my ignorance in package design would work against you. Would be happy taste testing samples though!
