I did this quick doodle in Central district of bamboo scaffolding around and a tree. It’s nice that Hong Kong takes special effort not to destroy the trees in the city. But they still lag behind in education. I met an arborist in Causeway Bay last month. He was from the UK and his main complaint was that there was no place in the region that trained arborist. He had to find help from abroad and not many tree surgeons were willing to relocate here. But, he’s here and there is a demand for more like him. So maybe VTC (Vo-Tech College) will start a program and keep things local.
