Mangrove Tree in Causeway Bay – drawing

The sun thought about coming out today, then decided against. But at least the humidity has dropped down to almost 80% and my paper doesn’t curl as I draw. This mangrove tree is behind the Central Library in Causeway Bay.

Ngoi Man St. Temple

This is a very small temple in Shau Kei Wan up the hill near the main bus station. A giant mangrove tree sits above the temple and one limb rests heavily on the roof. It’s hidden out of the way

It took 2 days to paint this image due to sitting in the shade and slow drying time. The sand fleas are bad under the trees too and I went through quite a bit of Off.
