My train was due to leave in about an hour and a half, leaving me with enough time to do a quick sketch at Hamburg’s Rathaus. As is always a problem, I needed a place to sit. Lucky for me, Godiva had seats on the water front. With little option but to drink hot coffee with dark chocolate, I sat and spent the remainder of my time drawing the Rathaus and Mother and Child monument. Could be a worse way to spend an hour.
It’s such a wonderful place and you made a really good sketch of my hometown.
