Stockholm, Wisconsin is a very small town along the Mississippi River I’m not sure why I stopped here since the coffee shops only seemed to open on the weekends. But the weather was cool and clear, so why not sketch.

Was a beautiful day out. Blue sky. No clouds. Stopped at Leinenkugel’s for a quick sketch. The pretzel with horseradish was great! Found this roadside attraction on Google Maps. POO corner. No waiting!

I’m back and looking forward to drawing and exploring the state. I found this little roadside gem in Colfax which lays claim to being halfway between the equator and the north pole. Now I just need to decide which direction

Came back from Hong Kong and headed south to Texas. Spent some time with family for the 4th of July. Here are some pictures that I drew early in the morning before the heat set in for the day. On

I’m back home in Wisconsin and looking forward to some cooler weather and summer breezes while I draw. I love the landscape up here, so colorful and broad. I drew this bridge near downtown Menomonie along the Chippawa River.

Soon after leaving Iceland, I headed to Hong Kong to visit my old stomping grounds. I did some exploring and found some need places to draw as well as some of my old favorites. Here’s the whole batch.

The last day in Iceland I thought I better get at least one drawing in town. I had spent the morning soaking in the public baths new the zoo. Then went downtown to draw while my family looked at tourist

Today we headed inland. It was a steep climb for our little car. But the countryside was spectacular. The weather was bright and cool with small puffy clouds scattered about. I only drew the one picture, spending more time walking

This May I decided to spend a few days in Iceland with my family. We rented a car and took of across the island. I was impressed with the lack of vegetation, and how colorful the lichen was that covered
