I went straight to work early this morning determined to finish the third coat. And by 4pm I was washing my brushes. Just in time. The humidity had been in the 80-90% range all day and at 4 clouds came creeping over the mountains. I put the ceiling around 200′. I checked the radar and there’s not much going on around here, so I’ll quit while I’m ahead and the paint has time to dry.
Shop Notes: dark blue windows, pawnshop sign, Chinese text over the various market places, and the Housing Estate sign. Oh, and the cherry on top: laundry hanging out of windows. One more day’s work!
oh yeah – and a coat of u/v polyurethane to keep the colors fresh for many years. So one more day and then another day of one hour!
Tedious business this…I can see the textured wall, that must have been painstakingly painted. I hope your clients appreciate what you have done 🙂
Hi Amru, the clients are very happy so far (knock wood I don’t botch it tomorrow). And I see the tedium of the work as a form of meditation, where I can daydream about future projects. No point in being idle just because your working. 😉
