Rainbow Warrior in Hong Kong – drawing

02-21-11-rainbow-warrior

Today was overcast with fog in some areas, temp around 14C. Thanks to Asrai for reminding me to get down to the Central Pier and draw the Rainbow Warrior before she sailed to South Korea. Another thanks to the crew for letting on board to get a close-up look at the ship. And a special shout out to Marty (hope I got the name right) who gave me the tour and who is the Rainbow’s Officer on Deck today and the Warrior’s 3rd Mate. The rest of the crew had liberty today. Sorry Marty. Have fun tomorrow when you have a day off. Stay away from Lan Kwai Fung, it’s nothing but trouble. 😉

A brief note: this is the last tour for the Rainbow Warrior as a working vessel. Greenpeace is having another tall ship being custom made. This new ship will be a state of the art sailing ship with enough sail surface area to be seen for miles around. Best of luck to the new ship and crew. The Rainbow Warrior leaves Hong Kong next Sunday, so come see this historic ship before it leaves.

Talk to you soon. This is amazing stuff, I’m going to put it on my Facebook.
    Cheers.

    1. Hi Meredith, Glad you like the site. Keep coming back, I’m getting better. 😉 I would be honored if you would help me promote this stuff. Why don’t I buy you a cup of coffee?
