Lunch in City Market, Savannah

Went out to sketch in Savannah today. The weather was beautiful, leaves were changing colors and the breeze was cool and fresh. I had planned on doing a larger sketch but found doing small cartoons to be fun and I

Key West, Florida

Took some time off to go see what Florida looks like. Drove from Savannah down to the A1A, then followed that to just north of Miami. Finally ran out of road in Key West, so I drew a picture outside

Blue Sky, Savanna River, Wilmington Island

This painting was initially a sketch I did while canoeing around Wilmington Island. The coloring was done later once I got home.

St. Thomas Church, Leipzig Germany

Today was windy, but not too cold. Either way, the St. Thomas Church was open and mainly empty. Bach practiced the organ here and the church does frequent recitals. I recommend visiting if you are ever in Leipzig.

Mangrove Tree in Causeway Bay – drawing

The sun thought about coming out today, then decided against. But at least the humidity has dropped down to almost 80% and my paper doesn’t curl as I draw. This mangrove tree is behind the Central Library in Causeway Bay.

Hong Kong Police Station, Central District – drawing

Well, I guess there just aren’t enough cheap “international style” buildings in Hong Kong. That’s the only reason I can think that the Town Planners are bulldozing the old colonial police station to put in its place two modern buildings

Chun Yeung St. Market, North Point

Another dreary cold day. The mist was heavy this morning and the bus ride from Big Wave Bay was very foggy. I wandered around looking for a covered area on the East side of the island, but nothing really appealed

Lei Yue Mun

Wow. What a great day to paint. Once again the weather report was so far off you begin to wonder if all the weathermen knew what a great day it was going to be and had called in sick, leaving
